Microneedling helps to improve the overall appearance and texture of your skin. We use the SkinPen, the only FDA approved device to reduce the appearance of acne scars which also helps to reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, scars, stretch marks, and fine lines and wrinkles. Microneedling helps to stimulate collagen production through the creation of approximately 3 million microchannels which stimulate your body to heal and build collagen naturally. You may elect to add platelet rich plasma (PRP) which entails a simple blood draw to pull plasma from your blood so your own growth factors are injected right back into you.

What to expect: Numbing cream is applied to the entire treatment area(s) for 20-30 minutes, and then your skin is cleaned and prepped. The SkinPen is then passed over the entire face and/or neck, with the depth and speed titrated to your own skins needs. The actual treatment takes about 20-30 minutes. Afterward, the treatment area will appear similar to a mild sunburn for two to three days. Sun exposure and makeup should be avoided for 24-48 hours after the procedure.
