What to expect: We apply a topical numbing product to your lips for augmentation and we allow the full peak onset of 20 minutes. The procedure itself generally takes 5-20 minutes, depending on the area treated or the volume deficit. Immediate results are visible, with expected swelling to occur within the first three days and taper down over the next 14 days. Bruising is also to be expected. This is important to remember when booking before a big event, vacations, or any work commitments. Results for HA fillers can last from 9-12 months, while CaHA fillers, typically used in the face and neck, will last longer.
