What to expect: Once you arrive, we will have a full consultation to discuss your concerns and we will build a plan of care together. Prior to injection, we will do topical or local numbing if necessary. For lips, we apply a topical numbing product to your lips for augmentation and we allow the full peak onset of 20 minutes. Filler procedures generally take 5-20 minutes, depending on the area treated or the volume deficit. Immediate results are visible, with expected swelling to occur within the first three days and taper down over the next 14 days. Bruising is also to be expected. This is important to remember when booking before a big event, vacations, or any work commitments. Results for HA fillers can last from 9-12 months, while CaHA fillers, typically used in the face and neck, will last longer.
