Scalp Microneedling

Microneedling helps to bring platelet rich plasma (PRP) right down to the hair follicle in order to use your own regenerative factors and growth factors to promote hair growth. Microneedling helps to stimulate growth through the creation of approximately 3 million microchannels which stimulate your body to heal naturally. In order to obtain your PRP, we preform a simple blood draw, place it in a centrifuge, and remove from the vial what we need: the liquid gold.

What to expect:

First, your scalp is cleaned and prepped. The PRP is then rubbed into the scalp and the SkinPen is then stamped over the scalp. The actual treatment takes about 15-20 minutes. Afterward, the treatment area may be tender two to three days. We request that you avoid washing your hair for 48 hours after the procedure for max absorption. Clients often bring a ball cap (or beanie in the winter) to wear out and around town after their procedure.
